The Art of Negotiating
Speaker: Anthony Huey

The question came out of left field, a question you never expected, and one for which you have no answer. What to do? Unacceptable options are stammering, silence, inappropriate laughter, and just plain verbal panic. What you need to do is think quickly, then take control. This session will give you the techniques and strategies you need to have more effective negotiations and respond to difficult questions while looking for opportunities to say what you want to say. Learning keys include addressing any question; buy yourself think time; develop killer content; reading and engaging your audience.

Speaker: Brian Solis

Through his research, Brian Solis, head of global innovation at ServiceNow and former vice president of global innovation at Salesforce, helps audiences empathize with different generations (Gen-Y, Z, Alpha) and understand how technology, specifically AI, creates a cross-generational superset of customer and employees with similar behaviors, interests and aspirations. Brian will run through a variety of AI applications that ASA Northeast attendees can easily implement in their businesses.

ASA Northeast Summit attendees will have the opportunity to explore the Newport Mansions, an integral part of the living fabric of Newport, Rhode Island. These sites exemplify three centuries of the finest achievements in American architecture, decorative arts and landscape design spanning the Colonial era to the Gilded Age. Attendees will tour the Breakers and Elms mansions.

Open to ASA Northeast attendees and their spouses.
Buses depart the Marriott at 1:30 p.m. for the short drive to the mansions.

ASA NORTHEAST SUMMIT NIGHT OUT BASH
The ASA Northeast Summit will conclude with a night-out celebration. Join us for an evening of dinner and networking at The Landing Restaurant located dockside at the end of Newport's historic Bowen's Wharf.
