Thursday, May 18, 2023 / News The PHCP & PVF Industry is an Ideal Option for Career Seekers We’ve all heard the stats, an average of 10,000 baby boomers are turning 65 every day and all 76 million boomers will have passed that age by 2030. Next up is Gen X and it is a much smaller generation of about 55 million. Finding talent to fill that gap continues to be a challenge for PHCP and PVF distributors, manufacturers and manufacturer representatives. This is exacerbated by the current labor market and extremely low unemployment. How do we attract new people? What messages will break through the clutter of “Now Hiring” signs we see in the windows of countless businesses. The market for talent is fierce. Project Talent is an ASA initiative designed to create awareness of the career opportunities that exist in the PHCP and PVF industry as well as providing recruiting tools and resources for ASA members.
