Forster joins ASA as its director of communications where she will spearhead the association’s public/media relations strategy, its social media efforts, as well as overseeing a variety of ASA-member-focused online and print communication platforms. A familiar face in the PHCP-PVF industry, Forster spent the last six years as chief editor of industry trade publication Supply House Times (ASA’s official media partner), while also serving as group editorial director of BNP Media’s Plumbing Group. BNP Media is the parent company of Supply House Times. Prior to joining BNP Media, Forster was an editor at North Carolina-based Southern Trade Publications on its Southern PHC magazine title from 2017-2020. “Once I joined this industry, it didn’t take long for me to realize this is where I wanted to plant my career roots,” said Forster, a 2017 graduate of the University of North Carolina-Greensboro. “ASA is the perfect place for me to deepen those roots and serve the PHCP-PVF distribution landscape by supporting and strengthening the association’s mission to drive the success of the supply chain industry.” “We are fortunate to be able to welcome a talented and familiar industry face to the ASA staff,” ASA CEO Mike Adelizzi said. “Natalie will immediately strengthen our communications efforts across multiple platforms, greatly enhancing our ability to communicate the important work ASA continues to do in its unwavering mission to be the unified voice that drives the success of the PHCP-PVF supply chain industry.” Waszczuk joins ASA as its staff accountant. Prior to joining ASA, Waszczuk worked in accounts receivable, collections and eventually became the credit manager at a food contact manufacturer. She also worked for a decade-plus in accounts receivable and collections for a family-owned giftware import/distribution company. “After I spoke to a couple people from ASA, I knew it would be a great opportunity for me and thought I would be a good fit for the association,” Waszczuk said. “So far, my expectations have been exceeded. I love learning new things and everyone here has been so friendly and helpful, and they truly seem happy to be at work, which makes it a pleasure to come here every day.” “Judy has been a great addition to the accounting department,” ASA CFO Aaron Scheiwe said. “Her experience and skill set will help enhance and streamline ASA’s accounting functions.” About the American Supply Association ASA is the national trade association for Plumbing-Heating-Cooling-Piping (PHCP) and Pipes-Valves-Fittings (PVF) wholesalers, manufacturers and independent manufacturers’ representative agencies of those products.
