ASA Announces 2023 World Plumbing Day Coloring Contest Winners

The American Supply Association is proud to announce the winners of the ASA World Plumbing Day poster contest. ASA held the contest in partnership with IWSH, the International Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Foundation, the organization that offers the international poster competition.  The ASA contest is offered to children in the 1^st to 6^th grades of any employee or customer of an ASA member company. In addition, all posters submitted in the ASA contest were forwarded to IWSH for consideration in the international competition.  Due to the record-breaking number of submittals this year, awards were provided in two grade divisions, 1^st to 3^rd and 4^th to 6^th grades.

“ASA is committed to our members and supply chain partners who serve the plumbing marketplace and ensure our public health though the design and installation of plumbing systems throughout the United States,” ASA CEO Mike Adelizzi said. “World Plumbing Day, held each year on March 11, is one keyway we can acknowledge the service they provide. A big thanks to our partner, IWSH, who along with the World Plumbing Council, has offered the World Plumbing Day Poster contest internationally for more than 13 years. We look forward to continuing and growing our partnership with IWSH in celebrating World Plumbing Day.”

In addition, we are proud to announce that Charlie Sterling, representing ASA member First Supply has also won 2^nd Place in the IWSH international contest. “We are delighted by the creativity expressed by these young students who are seeing the plumbing profession in a different light for the first time as a result of World Plumbing Day,” said IWSH Managing Director Seán Kearney. “Congratulations to the winning entrants, and thanks to all the young artists who sent their work in for this year’s contest.”
